Some of the smartest, progressive metal you’re likely to hear from any British band. Ever. This is by far one of the most intelligent “metal” albums to come out of the UK in a long time, every twist and every turn pulls your senses in a different direction. (Planet Loud, 10/10)
For those who find themselves forever yearning for a worthy contender to the throne of Neurosis, or for those who find Isis as increasingly forgettable as their vinyl pressing history, No Made Sense need to be in your ‘absolutely fucking essential’ list. Someone is going to have to create something very special to remove this from the top of my ’album of the year contender’ spot. (DSD, 10/10)
Encapsulating everything that is great about modern metal with the likes of Mastodon and Neurosis being hammered in the face by the band’s experimental sound and monolithic playing, the Reading trio have created a truly thunderous testament for the Gods of metal. (Rocksound, 9/10)
Specialistii s-au pronuntat si, dupa prima ascultare, sunt intru totul de acord cu ce spun ei. The Epillanic Choragi este unul dintre marile albume metal ale anului. Trebuie sa tineti cont de un lucru: este albumul de debut al trupei britanice No Made Sense.
