Top Sleaze Rock - locul 3

Crazy Lixx - Want It (Loud Minority, 2007)

...and patience had really run out at the end of 2002 when founders Dirtchild Danny and Vic Zino decided that the hardrocking community needed a band of the old school, the kind of rock music that dominated the hardrock scene in the late 80s and early 90s. Joey Cirera filled the drummer spot and the core of Crazy Lixx was formed.

Feeling we had missed out on a lot of the action of that time ourselves (being in our early teens at best when the grunge wave hit the world), we wanted to bring back the sound, the feeling, the look of what is for us the best period of hard rock. Not only for our sake, but for everybody else of "the wasted generation", those in our age and younger that had to grow up with poor excuses for hard rock like grunge and neo-metal not to mention the r&b, rap and other crap music that has dominated the popular music scene during the last decade.

Since 2002, members have come and gone and with the latest addition, basist Luke Rivano, the band seems to have a complete constallation ready to rock the crowd like in the good old days. For us, it's not a question of proving a revival of our favorite music is possible, it's simply the only thing we can imagine doing, it's either...
